Having written 8 trillion (a rough estimate) columns criticizing predictions that the GOP coalition and the rightwing generally are destined to come apart at the seams, I might be the wrong person to make this point but it seems to me that immigration is one of those issues where there really is a major fault-line on the right.
I was... well, no, not foaming at the mouth, but gaping in wonder at such a concentration of smug rich-guy arrogance on display all in one place. What color is the sky in these guys' world? I've modified a trillion or so pixels scoffing at the Left's blithe indifference to actual human nature, but Gigot & Co. take the biscuit.
Let's all take a moment to celebrate the fact Jonah's finally right about something: Immigration has actually ripped apart for now the bond that once held his own magazine together with its quasi-allies at Wall Street Journal.
