I got this clip from the guys over at Muckraker. It captures, I think, the extraordinary disconnect between how the people in Bush's inner circle approach their jobs and antagonists, and what the rest of the country believes are their Constitutional duties. Leahy hits exactly the right notes, and I hope this clip gets viewed widely, but at this point we really are left to wonder whether White House appointees have in fact been taking--in addition to their oath to uphold the Constitution--a cult-like vow of loyalty to the president.
